Ghana’s Sports Minister, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams says it’s very possible to host the FIFA World Cup some day especially now that it has been allowed for two or three countries to co-host.

He made these declarations based on the recent happenings and the fact FIFA has made way for co-hosting with Portugal, Spain and Morocco set to host 2030 edition.

The Sports Minister due to this feels very motivated that Ghana can co-host alongside West African neighbors Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire.

Speaking in a recent interview, Hon. Kofi Iddie Adams says it’s very possible to for Ghana to host the FIFA World Cup

“Ghana can co-host the FIFA World Cup with Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire. They [FIFA] are beginning to adopt a number of nations doing it so maybe who knows, the next one would be Ghana, Nigeria, and then Côte d'Ivoire coming together to also host the World Cup and it will be good," he said.

"I believe that we, together with Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoire, who have already invested quite a lot because they hosted AFCON not too long ago. We can also ask for that right."

The Black Stars have qualified for the Mundial and are waiting until December 5, to determine their group and opponents in the upcoming draw which will be held in Washington DC, USA.
