Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Dr. Randy Abbey has been appointed as Member of the Black Stars Management Committee.
According to the Communications Director of the GFA, Henry Asante Twum, the decision was taken by the Executive Council after the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, where Ghana crashed out in the group stage for the second consecutive time.
Abbey joins Chairman of the Committee Mark Addo, and Akwesi Agyeman who is also a member.
"Randy Abbeyhas joined the Black Stars Management Committee," Twum told Asempa FM.
"After the AFCON tournament in Ivory Coast, there were some reviews of the team's performance so the FA decided to retain Mark Addo, Akwesi Agyeman and now Randy Abbey has joined the team Management Committee."
