Ghana's Division One League side Port City have presented Richard Attah as their new signing.

Port City with its headquarters in Tema, Greater Accra but based in Kukurantumi in the Eastern Regional of Koforidua secured the signing of the former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Attah in December, having won the Ghana Premier League title with the Phobians in 2020–21 season.

The decision to move to Port City represents an important chapter in the 29-year-old's career as he takes on the challenge of playing in Ghana's second tier league.

He started his career at Eastern Region-based division one club Okyeman Planners. Attah later joined Elmina Sharks in 2017, and after spending two seasons with Elmina Sharks he then moved to Accra Hearts of Oak in 2019.

Attah was part of the Ghana National team in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations that was eliminated at the group stage of the competition.
