Former Ghanaian international Emmanuel Osei Kuffour has expressed his belief that captain Andre Ayew should be excluded from the Black Stars.

Kuffour, a renowned figure from Hearts of Oak, believes that Ayew's time with the national team has come to an end and urges the technical team to make way for young talents in the squad.

"Andre Ayew is done with the Black Stars and should be shown the exit in order to open doors for emerging talents like Kudus Mohammed," Kuffour asserted. "Dede Ayew has been with the Black Stars since 2008, and it's time for him to step aside. Kudus Mohammed, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and others deserve the opportunity to showcase their abilities."

Kuffour also emphasized that Ayew's younger brother, Jordan Ayew, still has a significant role to play in the national team and brings more to the table compared to Andre.

"Andre Ayew has served his time and should give way," Kuffour stated. "His younger brother Jordan is still present and has more to offer, unlike Dede, who has fulfilled his responsibilities with the senior national team. He should leave and make room for others."

Ayew, who currently plays for Nottingham, holds the record for the most appearances for the Black Stars. Since his debut in 2007, Ayew has represented Ghana 113 times and scored 24 goals in the process.
