Ghana coach Otto Addo has announced a strong starting line up for the Black Stars opening game at the 2022 FIFA World Cup against Portugal this evening.

The Black Stars will be opening their campaign at the Stadium 974 with a crunchy Group H fixture against Portugal.

 
Ghana will be hoping to be the first African nation to record a win or score a goal at the ongoing tournament after Senegal and Cameroon losing their opening games while Morocco and Tunisia sharing spoils with Croatia and Denmark.
 
Swiss based goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been handed the nod to be in the sticks for the Black Stars with Alidu Seidu and Baba Abdul Rahman on the flanks of the defense.
 
Trio Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu and Daniel Amartey will be in the heart of defense in a 3-5-2 system while Jordan Ayew and Tariq Lamptey have been dropped to the bench.
