Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his 26-man squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger early next month.

 

The senior men national team have been away since June when they recorded two consecutive wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

 

The four-time African champions will very soon be regrouping to start their journey towards the next AFCON which is expected to be accomplished in the next three international windows.

 

Coach Otto Addo's is expected to be without any huge surprises as about eighty percent of the squad are expected to be maintained.

 

Ernest Nuamah and Forson Amankwah are currently doubtful and could miss out due to the injuries they sustained over the weekend for their various clubs whiles captain Andre Ayew could also miss out again as he is still yet to find a new club. 

The former Borussia Dortmund trainer is expected to make announcement by 12 noon on Thursday, August 29, and could be live on the GFA app.

The Black Stars will kickstart their 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola on Thursday, September 5, before they face Niger in four days time.
