French-based defender, Gideon Mensah has commended the Ghana FA for choosing a friendly against giants Brazil describing it as a good test and added they are fully prepared for the epic clash this Friday.
The AJ Auxerre left back honestly, hasn't started the 2022/23 season well and is hoping to find his form back, right after the international break as he still remains in the acclimatization process at the Stade Abbe Deschamps
The 24 year old has been instrumental for the Black Stars throughout the qualifiers and has once again gained himself another call up to challenge for a spot most importantly at the Mundial which is scheduled for November.
Having spent three days in France already, the ex- WAFA lateral, has stated playing Brazil is the perfect test they need right now to test their strength and landed by exhibiting their readiness for the game.
"It's been good so far. We've been here for three days and we are fully ready and the impact the new boys are also bringing to the team is satisfying so we are ready", he told GFA's official YouTube channel.
"Playing against Brazil for sure, is a good test for Ghana, is a good choice and I give it up to the FA for giving us this opportunity. We are going to compete against good countries in the World Cup so playing against Brazil will be a good test for us."
The Black Stars will battle out with the five time world champions in a crunchy clash which is scheduled for Friday, September 23, at the Stade Oceane Le Havre.
