Black Stars forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has called for support from Ghanaians ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is one of the two players playing in the Ghana Premier League that made the Black Stars final squad for the World Cup.
The 22-year-old excelled on his Black Stars debut in a victory over Switzerland in an international friendly on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.
Ghana have arrived in Qatar from Abu Dhabi as they prepare for their first game against Portugal on 24th November.
Ghana will face South Korea and Uruguay on 28th November and 2nd December respectively in the group stage.
The Black Stars will lodge at Double Tree by Hilton hotel and train at the Aspire to Dream Academy training facility in Doha.
Speaking after the game, he urged Ghanaians to pray and support him at the global showpiece.
"The fans should keep on praying and support me," he told Joy Sports.
