Black Stars captain, Andre Ayew has stated they're excited to have Otto Addo as their head coach whom they are ever ready to back him succeed with the national team.
The 32 year old is Ghana's most capped player currently with an incredible 110 matches, a mark he achieved after lasting the entire duration against Switzerland in an international friendly last Thursday.
Speaking to FIFA, the Al Sadd forward described Otto Addo as one who has taken Africa to another level and added he's contributed immensely so far for the Black Stars.
"We are delighted. He’s a former national team player, now the manager and it was he who got us through the last two games against Nigeria to the World Cup. He’s doing a great job and we’re all behind him and plugging away. He’s shown that Africans can make it to the next level."
Ghana is placed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time world champions Uruguay.
They left Abu Dhabi for Qatar earlier today and will face the 2016 European champions on Thursday, November 24, at the Stadium 947.
