Officials of Medeama SC have opted to remain tight-lipped on Sowah's transfer news in the media. It is believed that the club is ready to sell him when they receive an offer around the region of €800,000 to €1 million.

However, it can be confirmed that a number of top football agents have invaded the team's base at the Reddison Blue Hotel in Cairo, holding talks with officials of the club over a potential deal for Jonathan Sowah.

Sowah, who switch from Beach Soccer to Football, had a breakthrough season at the Yellow and Mauves lads last term by scoring twelve goals in 18 matches.

The prolific attacker's output in the second round of the 2022/23 season was instrumental for Medeama and endured them their first-ever Ghana Premier League title.

His sterling performance at Medeama SC caught the attention of Black Stars coach Chris Hughton to make him a regular figure in the recent call-ups of the senior national team of Ghana.

He has already made two appearances for the Black Stars of Ghana.

Sowah has a contract which keeps him at Medeama SC until the summer of 2025.
