Ghanaian champions, Asante Kotoko have three of their players currently on trials in Moldova with champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol for a possible transfer ahead of the upcoming season, per reports in the local media.
The Porcupine Warriors had a very decent campaign having finished as the champions of Ghana, winning their 24th league title to end their seven year league abeyance.
The team is currently looking to make some recruitment in order to establish a redoubtable side to commence preparations towards defending the league and having a great spell in the CAF Champions League next season.
However, according to a report revealed by ace Sports Journalist Bismark Owusu Bempah of Multimedia, three Kotoko players right after the season, have already arrived in Moldova to begin the trials and will be handed a permanent stay should they impress the technical team.
These three players include deputy skipper Mudasiru Salifu, combative midfielder Richard Boadu and stalwart defender Andrews Appau.
FC Sheriff Tiraspol after conquering the league in their country will hope for another awesome spell in the UEFA Champions League next season.
