According to the latest speculations in the local media, the Black Stars players are yet to receive their qualification after sending the country to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

 

The four time African champions exhibited an impressive display throughout the qualifying campaign and finally returned to the Mundial, having missed out in the last edition which was staged in Russia in 2018.

Ghana commenced the qualifiers with C.K Akonnor- his jettisoning brought in Milovan Rajevac subsequently before Otto Addo took over in the latter part to grab the ultimate qualification.
 
The Black Stars in the first phase, finished as winners of Group G with 13 points, having recorded four wins, with a draw and loss each- notably that important final fixture victory over South Africa in Cape Coast.
 
Subsequently, the team edged out West African neighbours and sworn rivals, Nigeria in the playoff round to finally advance to the World Cup which comes up in November this year. 
 
Each player after the sweet qualification was supposed to pocket $80,000, having engaged in eight matches in total with each win warranting $10,000.
 
However, exclusive reports has it that, those qualification bonuses after series of assurance, are yet to be paid to the players and the technical team with less than three months to the global football event.
 
Ghana in the 2022 World Cup, has been paired in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time champions Uruguay.
