Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has been appointed as a scout for Ghana ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, according to multiple reports.
The former West African Football Academy trainer resigned from his post as Asante Kotoko head at the end of last season.
He will be one of the scouts to monitor opponents to aid Otto Addo and his backroom to make informed decisions in their games.
Narteh Ogum led Asante Kotoko to win the highly coveted Ghana Premier League title, to end their eight years league title drought.
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stages of the World Cup.
The Black Stars succumbed to a 3:0 defeat to Brazil, before beating Nicaragua by 1:0 in an international friendlies last week.
Salisu Mohammed, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey all made their Black Stars debut after a long wait.
Ghana have scheduled a final pre-World Cup friendly with Switzerland in November.
Ghana will open their World Cup campaign against Portugal on 24th November.
