Information reaching Kickgh.com indicates that Hearts of Oak is set to lose its sponsorship deal, which will expire next month with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) due to the clubs abysmal performance last season.
Last year, the Phobians reached an agreement with the country's leading lottery firm over a Gh¢1,000,000 ($95,693.78) mutual benefit partnership deal after a fruitful discussion.
However, Director General of National Lottery Authority (NLA), Samuel Awuku disclosed that it is possible the other club being sponsored [Hearts of Oak] will not be considered for a contract extension when Premier League champions Asante Kotoko visited the entity at the end of the season to present the league title to officials of the firm.

“The NLA going into next season might not sponsor all the clubs again but Kotoko you have made yourself worthy so we will consider sponsoring you.
“For every team, we decide to sponsor going forward if at the end of the season you are not part of the top three we won’t consider you again,” the NLA chief capo stated plainly.
Fortunately for the Porcupine Warriors, reports has it that talks are underway between the club and NLA on a contract extension of the mouthwatering sponsorship deal.
