The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will dissolve the backroom staff of the senior national team, the Black Stars, according to media reports.
Kickgh.com understands that the GFA will announce the dissolution in the coming days. This move has become necessary following the team's failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco.
The domestic football governing body met with head coach Otto Addo on November 27, to review his technical report and the performance of his staff since his reappointment in March 2024.
Addo's second stint with the Black Stars has been filled with challenges, including Ghana’s failure to win a single game in the Afcon qualifiers, marking West African powerhouse' absence from the tournament since 2004.
