Ibrahim Salifu, whose Hearts of Oak contract is set to expire by the close of today, June 30, has popped up on the radar of Kosovan topflight club FC Drita, according to reports.

The 24-year-old is currently running out of contract and there has been series of attempts from the 'Phobians' to have him extend his stay in the capital but he's rejected all that and is willing to move elsewhere.

The mercurial playmaker despite all these, had a fantastic season having contributed to twelve goals; netting twice and created ten in thirty-two league appearances in the just-finished season.

His consistent stellar performances has gotten him on the wishlist of lots of clubs both local and abroad including giants Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC, per speculations.

However, the latest update is that, Kosovan topflight side FC Drita have shown huge interest in signing Ibrahim Salifu to strengthen their squad for the new season and is most likely he could be secured on a free transfer.

The Intellectuals have been in the top four of the Kosovo Superleague for the past two seasons and are looking to establish a formidable side this time to challenge for the title in the 2024/25 season.

Ibrahim Salifu is currently not training with the rest of his Hearts of Oak teammates after the club asked him to stay away ahead of their Democracy Cup game against eternal rivals Asante Kotoko next week.
