Former Ghanaian youth international, Robert Dabuo has expressed how proud he always feels whenever he has the opportunity to represent Ghana during his heydays.
The former Wa All Stars (now Legon Cities FC) and Ashanti Gold goalkeeper used to be a key figure in Ghana's U17 and U20 team during his youthful days.
He was on the Black Starlets team that featured at the South Korea 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
"As a young player going to represent the whole country is always an exciting moment and going to a tournament with Ghanaians believing in you that you are going to win makes you confident and determined," Dabuo told Happy FM.
"In Ghana when you bring the trophy that is how people will follow you but if you go and things don't go well you know Ghana it creates a lot of problems."
In 2008, Dabuo joined the Black Satellites and ensured Ghana won the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt, a pivotal point in the sport's history.
