Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu is excited about their upcoming CAF Champions League match against Raja Casablanca. This comes after Samartex successfully defeated Victoria United in the first preliminary round. 

The Ghanaian team, known as the Timber giants, won both legs of the first preliminary round against Victoria United, securing a 2-0 aggregate victory. 

 

Samartex's 1-0 wins in both legs ensured their advancement to the next stage of qualifying. Their goal now is to reach the group stage of the prestigious competition. 

 

The Ghanaian champions will face off against Raja Casablanca in a two-leg tie. The first leg will take place in Ghana at the Accra Sports Stadium in September, followed by the second leg in Morocco. 

 

Nurudeen Amadu, speaking to the press, acknowledged the strength of their Moroccan opponents but expressed confidence that his team will put up a strong fight.
