Fans of Hearts of Oak have held top officials Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Braimah Moro at the Accra Sports Stadium following the club's exit from the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday afternoon.

The irate fans of the Ghanaian giants opted to express their anger at the top brass of the club after losing 3-1 on aggregate to ASR Bamako of Mali in the preliminary round of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup.

Odotei and Alhaji Braimah Moro popularly known as ‘Akanbi’ are currently being held under tight police security at the stadium as numbers grow for their heads.

The duo have come under mounting pressure following the sacking of coach Samuel Boadu from the club after a winless start in the suspended Ghana Premier League last month.

Supporters of the club believe the two personalities are behind the club's embarrassing campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup despite defeating ASR Bamako 1-0 in the reverse fixture after losing 3-0 in the first leg tie in Bamako last weekend.

The car tyres of the two board members od the club have been deflated as they're currently being held hostage.
