After suffering a 2-0 home defeat to Medeama SC on Sunday, Seydou Zerbo voiced his frustration.

The Porcupine Warriors, who had been unbeaten at home this season, conceded goals from Jonathan Sowah and Vincent Atinga at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Despite playing against a Medeama side that had not won any of their previous ten away games, the GPL holders failed to deliver their best performance.

In a post-match interview with StarTimes, Zerbo attributed their loss to a lack of concentration, determination, and execution of tactics. He admitted that their game plan had not worked well and they couldn't apply their tactical ploy effectively.

“Our game plan didn’t work today. We lost concentration, determination and the game plan. We couldn’t apply the tactical ploy very well.”

The Burkinabé coach expressed his disappointment with the result and emphasized the need to work on their mistakes. “I am very disappointed with how the result came. We still have to accept it and work on the mistakes,” Coach Seydou Zerbo told StarTimes.

Now, the Porcupine Warriors will turn their attention to their next match against Legon Cities in Accra. They are currently in seventh place on the league table with 34 points from 22 matches.
