Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton ahead of the second leg against Angola, has admitted it will be a tough task but believe they will come out victors should they take their chances this time.
The Palancas Negras will welcome Ghana to the Estádio 11 de Novembro this afternoon in match-day four of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The four time African champions recorded a narrow 1-0 win over the same opponent in the first leg thanks to a late winner from AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo- a goal that left Kumasi in complete raptures all night.
Speaking ahead of the game, the experience manager has credited the Black Antelopes for their discipline and spirited first leg display but wants his charges to be better in front of goal this time unlike what transpired in Kumasi last Thursday.
"I think again, a difficult game. Angola showed in big parts of the game the quality that they have got, their way of play,” coach Chris Hughton said at his pre-match presser.
“I don’t think there will be too many surprises in the way they play because they are a very technical and they like to play very expansive game. It’s about making sure that we on the day defend well, play as a unit and take our opportunities, perhaps a little bit better than what we did in the first game.”
The game is slated for 16:00GMT.
