Board member of Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Braimah Akambi has disclosed their head coach Slavko Matic has been told to stay away from the club by Ghana Police, after reporting some section of the supporters who stopped him from training last week.

The Serbian gaffer joined the Phobians at the start of the season to replace Samuel Boadu and started on a good note but somehow his means of grinding results became inconsistent.

His start to the second phase of the season was really a jittery one having lost his previous two matches coming into last week's SUPER-CLASH, reason he was prevented from supervising the team's final training session ahead of the game.

Hearts of Oak with assistant coach David Ocloo, eventually won the game by narrowly edging out sworn rivals Kotoko last Sunday to claim all three points and also emerge winners of the President Cup.

In an interview with Sunyani-based Service Radio, Alhaji Akambi has confirmed Slavko Matic will stay from the club just as the police have ordered and a decision on his future at the club will be decided very soon.

"Slavko Matic has been asked to stay away ,we will meet Togbe Afede then we will see the way forward."

Hearts of Oak after the precious win have now reinstated themselves in the top four with 31 points and will travel to Bibiani GoldStars in week 21.
