The Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, has expressed his belief that it's time to reconsider the inclusion of certain players in the Black Stars squad.
According to him, a select group of players within the Black Stars have surpassed their peak and should be replaced by emerging talents.
“Few Black Stars players, in my opinion, have exceeded their usefulness. I think we should replace those guys because from what I've seen roughly two or three, they don't measure up to par,” the Suame MP who is also the Majority Leader in Parliament said.
He further emphasized, "The coach has a pool of up-and-coming stars at his disposal as potential replacements."
The Black Stars are scheduled to return to action later this month as they embark on the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. During the November international break, Ghana will face Madagascar and Comoros. Coach Chris Hughton is expected to announce his squad for these crucial matches in the upcoming week.
