Head Coach of Black Stars, Otto Addo has spoken highly of his next opponents South Korea in an international friendly game coming up tomorrow to wrap up the year.
The game despite being just a friendly will definitely one that the Tigers of Asia will look to stage their revenge from their last meeting with Ghana where they suffered a painful 3-2 loss at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The four-time African champions in this window first took on Japan last week in a very fascinating fixture in Aichi but lost by 2-0 in the end, thanks to goals in each half from Takumi Minamino and Ritsu Doan.
The team right after moved to Seoul where they have been training for days now to prepare adequately for the game and have received a warm reception from the Ghana’s Ambassador to South Korea H.E Kojo Choi who has charged and urged them to victory in the game coming up.
In a post-match presser, Otto Addo described the current South Korea team as an all round one and added it will be a very difficult game this time and a great test for the defenders especially
"We saw a lot of matches from South Korea. We know what they are capable of. They have a lot of very good players in defence, like Kim from Bayern Munich. But also up front, they are very strong with Lee from PSG and Son, definitely.
“It's a good game for our defenders. They will have a strong opponent, and it will be good for us to see how good they are. I know that they can do it.”
South Korea will host Ghana at 11:00am tomorrow, November 18, at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
