Executive Council member of the Ghana FA, Nana Oduro Sarfo has poured cold water on claims that Ghanaian footballers are not given good salaries thereby making their warfare very poor.

Players in the Ghanaian topflight are known for taking better salaries compared to other gootball divisions in the country but even with that, some take as low as $100 monthly which sometimes doesn't even drop regularly.

However, journalism in Ghana also suffers similar problem with lots of people working for years for media houses but are not on payrolls.

This is why Nana Oduro Sarfo is amazed at why most of these sports journalists who are not paid won't think about themselves but will sit on radio and television stations to chastise club owners for not paying their players- when genuinely they are having the same headache.
