Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has reiterated they will still qualify despite winless in their first three games and added Sudan were just lucky in the game.
Ghana got held by the Falcons of Jediane to a goalless draw at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in a crunchy Group F fixture of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The four-time African champions were the dominant side and created numerous opportunities especially in the second half but they were all futile.
Speaking in a post-match presser, the former Borussia Dortmund trainer disclosed Sudan were just lucky to earn a draw and he optimistically added they won't mess up next time and still have the chance to qualify.
"We played well. Defensively we were solid. We knew it will be tough because they will have the fans with them so we had to rely on some counter attacks but our final products wasn't the best."
"Ghana is better than Senegal so being able to be on top in the WC qualifiers and win all our home games, we will qualify and the draw here is a huge boost for us."
The second leg is slated for Monday, October 14, at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benina, Libya.
