The Black Princesses of Ghana are currently preparing for the 2022 FIFA U-20 women's World Cup and will take on France this mid-afternoon in a preparatory friendly.
The game will serve as a warm up clash for the West African country who look to test their strength against the giants to see how poised and gelled they are for the much-awaited tourney, having been in camp for months now.
The team arrived in France few days ago, having already held series of training sessions and are currently in a very good shape for the epic clash coming up.
The Black Princesses will be making their sixth straight appearance at the global football competition and have been placed in a tough Group D together with United States of America, Netherland and Japan
Ben Fokuo has confidently expressed their readiness ahead of today's friendly and strongly believes they will put up a performance which will give Ghanaians a good glimpses ahead of the tournament proper.
"Tomorrow's game is very important because France is a high-level team and we see this match as important as the matches against our opponents in the World Cup. This match is very important as playing this game will give us a clear picture about what to expect in Costa Rica."
"Ghanaians should expect a good game from us and the performance will show that the team is ready for Costa Rica," coach Fokuo told ghanafa.org.
"The players know it will be a tough game but we will put in our best and get a good result."
The game against France today is slated for 1600GMT at the Complexe Sportif a Clairefontaire-en-Yvelines.
