Bechem United gaffer, Kasim Ocansey Mingle, who was very confident of beating Hearts of Oak prior to the final, has disagreed with the referee's decision to take off Augustine Okrah and described it as a needless decision.
The Hunters gave away a goal lead to fall to a painful 2-1 loss to the Rainbow Club who completed their 12th triumph as far as they league cup is concerned.
However, one moment that is gradually taking headlines after the game has to do with Augustine Okrah who was shown a red card on the 65th minute for headbutting one of the assistant line up.
Speaking in the post match interview with StarTimes, the experience trainer has lauded the performance of his boys, who sticked to his game plan but believe the red card shown was needless and caused their defeat.
"We played very well in the first half but the match officials gave a needless red card, we should have won this match."
Bechem United had a very decent campaign after finishing 3rd in the Ghana Premier League and also reached tbe final of the league cup.
