New Black Stars defender, Tariq Lamptey has stated he feels really good since joining the Black Stars camp and has admitted the team has so much quality to compete at the highest stage.
The 21 year old just recently agreed to play for Ghana despite featuring for his place of birth, England at youth level.
He was included in coach Otto Addo's 26 man squad ahead of the upcoming pre- World Cup friendlies against heavyweights Brazil and Nicaragua, all coming up this month.
The ex- Chelsea star are among the players that arrived early in the Black Stars camp last Monday to begin preparations and the team has a full house right now looking poised for the epic clash.
In his first interview, the diminutive wingback has appreciated how he was welcomed into the team and added he is getting on really well with everyone after admitting there's so much quality in the Black Stars.
"I feel really good; training has been really good, it’s good to know everybody. There is a very high quality here and we are working hard in training, listening to what the Coach has to say and looking forward to the game."
"Everyone has been fantastic. Everyone has been very welcoming. I am talking to everyone, getting to know everyone. It feels like a family so it feels so good."
Ghana will face Brazil on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Stade Oceane Le Havre.
