Two devoted Wa Power SC supporters showed their unwavering passion for the club by embarking on a remarkable cycling journey from Wa to Nadowli to cheer on their side in Sunday’s Division One League fixture against TF Exponential.
The young fans pedalled for nearly two hours to make the 40-kilometre trip, determined not to miss their team’s Matchday 4 encounter in Zone One A.
Their dedication, however, went unrewarded in terms of goals, as the game ended in a goalless draw, with both teams sharing the spoils after a nerve cracking match.
The result leaves Wa Power SC sitting fourth in the Zone One A standings with five points, while TF Exponential follow closely in sixth with four points after four rounds of matches.
Despite the stalemate, the spirited show of loyalty from the young supporters has earned admiration across the country, especially in the Upper West Region.
