Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku paid a visit to the Black Maidens to boost their morale ahead of their crucial second-leg FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Togo this weekend.

The Ghana FA President encouraged the players to stay focused as they look to finish the job after a strong first-leg performance away from home.

Ghana secured a 2-0 victory in the first leg at the Stade de Kegue, thanks to a brace from Priscilla Mensah, putting the Maidens in a commanding position ahead of the return fixture.

Coach Joe Adarkwah and his girls will be aiming to build on the first leg advantage when they face Togo in the second leg scheduled for Saturday, April 18, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The return encounter comes off this weekend with the Black Maidens looking very desperate to secure their place in the next stage of the competition
