President of Ghana, H.E Nana Akuffo Addo has donated a sum of GHC50,000 to veteran gaffer, Sellas Tetteh who is currently ill and without any coaching role at the moment.
The 66 year old is known very well in the Ghanaian game, having led almost all our national teams including a sensational achievement of guiding the Black Satellites to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup- Egypt 2009.
The former Rwandan national team coach hasn't been feeling well for sometime now and has been pushing the GFA and the Sports Ministry to settle his unpaid bonuses after the 2009 triumph.
However, on Monday, February 20, 2023, a delegation from the Ministry of Youth and Sports led by Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, handed a cash of GHC50,000 to Sellas Tetteh at his humble abode in Accra.
The donation was from the first gentleman of the land to cater for his medical bills as they look to see him fully fit sooner.
He was just recently surprised by Black Stars captain Andre Ayew who also gifted him an undisclosed amount of money for his upkeep.
