Division One League side VC Warriors have officially appointed Boniface Ayipa as the club's new head coach for the remainder of the season.

The Wenchi-based club have made a strategic shake-up in their technical team as they bid for Ghana Premier League promotion next season.

Ayipa, who previously handled Skyy FC, reached an agreement with the top hierarchy of VC Warriors and signed a two-year contract.

He takes over from former Asante Kotoko and WAFA coach Akakpo Patron, who was relieved from his role following the team's uninspiring performance in the ongoing season.

The experienced tactician is set to begin life at VC Warriors on January 20, 2024 when they commence their preparation for the Division One League remaining games after the AFCON break.

Ayipa masterminded Nsoatreman FC's promotion to the Ghana Premier League three seasons ago.
