Veteran Ghanaian football administrator Kofi Manu, popularly known as "Blue Boy" has criticised the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council, calling it the worst in the country’s history and accusing its members of lacking independence.

“This football executive council is the worst I have ever seen in Ghana’s history. The only thing they do is ‘yes sir, yes sir,’” Manu fumed on Kumasi based Sikka FM.

“The exco members are very disappointing. The only experiment they have done is two terms, so why change it to three terms?”

Manu also accused GFA President Kurt Okraku of overstepping his mandate.

“Kurt is behaving like the Ghana Football Association is his father’s property. Kurt is out of the coverage area to contest again even when they change it to three terms,” he said.

Manu's comments come as debate intensifies over a proposal to extend the GFA presidency from two to three terms — a move that has divided stakeholders and fuelled calls for governance reforms.
