Nsoatreman FC secured a 2-1 victory over Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium during matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
The away side's triumph left many fans shocked, including one outspoken Asante Kotoko supporter known as Okocha, who attributed the defeat to an alleged incident of player misconduct.
Okocha claimed that he witnessed five Asante Kotoko players drinking at a spot in Ejisu just last Tuesday, insinuating that this behavior impacted their performance against Nsoatreman FC.
"The players started against Nsoatreman FC yesterday, and I saw them drinking last Tuesday at a spot called Kiss kiss at Ejisu," Okocha revealed during an interview with Kumasi Angel FM.
Asserting the validity of his claims, Okocha stated, "I have their pictures with me right now," highlighting his intention to bring attention to the issue.
As Asante Kotoko prepares to face Dreams FC on Sunday at Dewu Park, Okocha's allegations add an unexpected twist to the team's upcoming fixture.
