United States of America (USA) recorded a 4-0 massive win over the Black Stars of Ghana in an international friendly on Wednesday morning.
An explosive start earned the Stars and Stripes the opener in just ten minutes from kickoff through Giovanni Reyna who pounced on a poor clearance from Jerome Opoku to struck into the net from a close range.
Gideon Mensah subsequently fouled Sergino Dest in the box for a penalty. Christian Pulisic stepped up and converted calmly to double the lead.
Just four minutes on, another clanger from Gideon Mensah once again resulted into the third for the host- after Timothy Weah nipped on that to cross to Folarin Balogun in the middle who touched calmly to make it 3-0.
Giovanni Reyna got his brace on the 30th minute after scoring from an indirect free kick to snatch their fourth of the day
