Black Queens forward Doris Boaduwaa says she is optimistic about the future of new coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren.
According to Boaduwaa, the team is showing signs of improvement since the arrival of the Swedish tactician.
“Every coach has how they want their team to play. Since coming to camp I’ve seen he has been trying to improve us and correct where we are lacking. We are hoping for the best,” Doris Boaduwaa said.
Attacker Sherifatu Sumaila further mentioned her conviction that the Black Queens are making good progress.
“He is trying to teach us the way he wants us to play and the good thing is we are listening, we are having fun and we are learning new stuff. The technical team, everyone has been helpful so I feel like everything is on the right course,” the skilful forward noted.
On Monday, the Black Queens rounded off their first training camp in Morocco where they played the Atlas Lionesses in an international friendly match which they unfortunately succumbed to a 1-0 defeat.
