Nsoatreman FC general manager, Eric Alagidede has stated that they were aware their FA Cup final game against Bofoakwa Tano would be a tough match.
The clash between the two Bono clubs on Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium was a fantastic one, with Nsoatreman winning the Cup after winning 5-4 on penalty shootouts.
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, Alagidede admitted that despite Bofoakwa being relegated from the recently-ended Ghana Premier League, they knew it would be a face-off against their bitter-regional rivals.
"Bofoakwa Tano are relegated from the Ghana Premier League but I keep saying their relegation is about managerial issues but they have a very good team.
"We knew it would be a difficult game and when Bofoakwa scored, it made it even more difficult for our team but I was optimistic we were going to win the game and we fought hard to lift the trophy," Alagidede added.
