Former Ghanaian international, Laryea Kingston has advised that the country should start scouting their World Cup opponents from now so there will be much information and solutions to match them six months from now in USA, Canada and Mexico.

The four-time African champions have been housed in Group of the world showpiece alongside England, Croatia and Panama, and will play their hearts out this time to cruise into the knockout stage having failed to do so in their previous two appearances.

Laryea Kingston has cautioned the team and Ghanaians to not underestimate group underdogs Panama and believes with proper scouting of our opponents, Ghana will be able to surpass the first round of the tournament at least

"I believe there should be scouts assigned to every opponent the Black Stars will be facing, and that is Panama, England and Croatia," he told SuperSports Blitz.

"Whenever these teams play, there should be someone there to monitor how they. We must be ready to invest in these scouts so they can do a good job for the Black Stars before the World Cup starts," Kingston added.

The Black Stars will kickstart their campaign on June 17, against Panama.

Laryea Kingston is now the head coach of the Uganda youth national teams and has already qualified their U-17 to the next CAF Youth Championship
