Head coach of Ghana U-20 women national team, Yussif Basigi has called on Ghanaians to come in numbers to support him and his girls as they prepare for their game against their Beninese counterparts.
The Black Princesses will cross swords with Benin in the opening fixture of the maiden WAFU Zone B U-20 Women Cup of Nations on Saturday afternoon at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The Princesses have been in camp at Prampram for almost a month now, seriously preparing for the tourney and wrapped up their preparations with an 11-0 win over Niger in a friendly in Accra couple of days ago.
Speaking ahead of the game, the experience gaffer disclosed there is no any injury at his disposal and expressed their readiness towards the game coming up.
He added up by inviting all Ghanaians most especially the Kumasi fans to troop in numbers to rally behind his side and cheer them up to nothing but a victory.
"We came to train for an hour and you can see the mood in camp is positive and the players are ready for the game against Benin."
“For injury situation in camp, we are working closely with the medical team and they have assured us of no injury concern in camp. We have our full squad fit for the game tomorrow."
”We entreat all Ghanaians to come to the stadium in their numbers to support and cheer us to victory", he concluded
The game is scheduled for 15:00GMT this mid-afternoon.
