The Politician and businessman has reportedly decided to vie for the presidential seat of Ghana Football Association (GFA) in this year's election.

Bankroller of Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea, Bernard Nana Yaw Amofa Jantuah has emerged as a top contender for the seat of presidency for the country's football governing body.

The Kumasi-born business mogul has hinted his bid for the top position at the Ghana Football Association in a post on his official Facebook page.
 
Amofa Jantuah shared a post of a strategic meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah, who contested the last elections in 2019.
 
 
 
Amofa Jantuah, who is the CEO of Benamof Group of Companies, has been providing financial support to the Ghana Premier League club since taking over as the majority shareholder. He assumed the role of president of the Berekum-based club in November 2021 after the takeover.
 
In addition to his business ventures, Amofa Jantuah is known for his philanthropic work and possesses extensive administrative experience. He also has a background in politics.
 
The current President of the Ghana FA, Kurt E.S. Okraku, and the Executive Council will see their mandate expire on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
