Head coach of the Black Queens, Nora Häuptle ahead of the game against Benin on Sunday afternoon, has stated is her first game and means so much to her but isn't very much focused on the results.

The Swiss gaffer was appointed to lead the Ghana's senior women national team months ago after she had already served the Technical Director role.

She just recently invited 30 players at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence for a short camping towards the double header friendly against Benin and Togo.

The team arrived in Contou on Friday and have already trained at the city, hoping for quick adaptation before they head into the game.

Speaking ahead of the game, the 39 year old stated she is really looking forward to her first game but is to see how well her players have so far understood her playing style.

"First game is always special not just for the country but for me as a coach," she told ghanafa.org.

"I am very curious and proud to lead this country. We have worked a lot in principles this week, in the defence and offence so at the moment we just focus on our performance and not care too much about our opponents and try to bring our playing style on the pitch."

"I am full of confidence and full of joy and can’t wait to start my first game."

The game is scheduled for 1500GMT on Sunday.
