Abdul-Karim Zito- Dreams FC gaffer, has blamed luck for their defeat against Bofoakwa Tano and feels somehow they were denied a legitimate goal.
The 'Esuo Eyiri Pe Bre' outfit exhibited an impressive display to take out reigning champions Dreams FC by 2-1 in the second semi final- an epic tie that had to be decided in extra time.
Aboagye Dacosta opened the scoring account on the 47th minute but was cancelled out thirteen minutes later by Emmanuel Agyei's penalty.
Before Elijah Addai tapped in at a close range from a good Isaac Baffoe cross in the extra time to win the game for Bofo.
In an interview, the experienced tactician said they were not lucky since lots of chances fell on their path in the game but couldn't make it count and added his lads responded so well heading into the latter part.
"There's something call an element of luck so I will say today the luck wasn't on our side. We created lots of chances, and put the ball at the back of the net, it seemed credible."
"But I enjoyed how my boys played, the fighting spirit came. They came in seriously to fight for the equalizer but luck wasn't on our side."
