Andre Ayew- Ghana's captain has stated with so much optimism that, the current Black Stars are going to a five-star display at the 2022 FIFA World Cup which comes up in November.
The Black Stars are housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and two time world champions Uruguay.
Ghana just recently lost to Brazil by 3-0 at the Oceane Stadium in Le Havre, France in an international friendly as part of their preparations towards the Mundial.
The current squad looked different in strength with the inclusion of newbies, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Stephen Ambroisius Ransford Yeboah Koningsdorffer and more.
The 32 year old believes with the confidence and current motivation in camp, the Black Stars will make a strong case at the biggest global football competition. He said;
“Personally, I knew what was supposed to be done and took advice from people, including 1some senior former players, on things to do to qualify, he added.
“And honestly, since we qualified for the World Cup a lot of things have changed, the confidence and belief are back; now we just have to get stability and a lot of games together, and I think we can make a good impression in this World Cup.”
Ghana will take on Nicaragua on Tuesday, September 28, 2022 in Spain.
