Samuel Boadu, head coach of Hearts of Oak has admitted they have been appaling recently but is optimistic they will win the FA Cup to console their supporters..
Hearts of Oak will battle it out with the Hunters in the final of the league cup this weekend in Kumasi- a clash the 'Phobians' will be chasing for their 11th title whiles Bechem will look to win again after the 2016 glory.
The Rainbow Club haven't been impressive in their recent matches, having ended the season on a very poor note, losing all their four matches which saw them finish outside the top four.
Speaking in a post-match presser last Sunday, the enterprising tactician has stated they are going to make adequate preparations towards the game and will offer all they could to clinch the trophy to please their grieved fans.
"FA Cup is different from the league. With this preparations, the playing body have seen that things are not going on well for us so the last that we have to do to please the supporters is win the FA Cup. We are going to prepare mentally and psychologically to do well and bring the cup back."
The game is scheduled for Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
