Head coach of Golden Kick FC, Fiifi Parker Hanson has expressed disappointment towards his players despite cruising to the semi-final of the FA Cup.

The Blue-Reds exhibited a stupendous performance and should have won over Karela United in open play but wasted so many chances and subsequently won 5-3 via penalty shootouts in a thrilling game last Sunday afternoon at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Golden Kick FC sold a very good game and proved they didn't take out the record holders Hearts of Oak by fluke but was rather on merit.

Speaking in a post-match presser, the UEFA Development Coach license holder said he isn't happy due to how wasteful they were in the game and added they were by far the better side in the game.

"Actually I wasn't surprised with what my boys did but rather disappointed with the kind of opportunities we missed. We watched them against Accra Lions so we had information about them."

"I'm very concerned about our goal-scoring. Because to win the game, you need to get the ball at the back of the net before. We keep working on that and it has been a big challenge."

"Karela didn't play anything, they couldn't threaten us in any way and only created just clear chance in the game."

Golden Kick FC will now face Attram de Visser Academy in the semi final of the competition in early May.
