The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority (NYA), Osman Abdulai Ayariga, has reiterated the government's commitment to investing significantly in the youth.

According to the young lawyer six new youth resource centres will be constructed to cater to the needs of six newly created regions in Ghana.

Ayariga made these remarks on ChannelOne News. He was responding to a question which was posed to him on ‘the future of the centers that are yet to be completed’.

“The 10 youth development centres that were being constructed (under the past administration) of which only two were completed,…so based on the promise of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, I can tell you emphatically that we shall complete the rest of the youth development centres and also construct new ones to take care of the six other new regions.”

His comments come as a contribution to the debate asking if an NDC government will follow the footsteps of the erstwhile NPP who became deaf to the plights of Ghanaians
