The former chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Joseph Yaw Appiah, has lambasted the Ghana Football Association, referring to them as "know-it-all" under their supervision of the sport.
In recent time, the Kurt Okraku headed administration have faced persistent scrutiny, showing a noticeable decline in performance throughout all tiers, inclusive of the senior national team - the Black Stars failure to miss out on qualification to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations set to come off in Morocco later this year.
"Is there any leadership at the GFA?", Appiah quizzed in an interview on Joy Sports
"They are self-centered, close circuit. Whatever they say, nobody can challenge it.
"When you sit down and watch things going on, at times you become sad. When you talk, they will call you to the Ethics Committee.
"Look at the performance of the Black Stars, [other] national teams, do what is good if you don't want people to talk.
"Everybody is afraid to talk [including Team Managers] because if you talk, your team will go [to] relegation," he bewailed.
