Aduana FC say they are ready to eliminate Asante Kotoko from the MTN FA Cup when the two sides meet in the Round of 16.
The Dormaa-based club will travel to Kumasi to face the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the 2025/26 competition.
Speaking to Akoma FM, Aduana FC Chief Executive Officer Collins Attah Poku admitted the task will be difficult, but said the Ogya Boys are excited by the challenge.
“We were very excited to be paired with Kotoko at this stage of the competition,” he said.
“It is another opportunity for us to show our quality, although we would have preferred a different venue because of our past record in Kumasi.”
Attah Poku stressed that beating Kotoko is key if Aduana are to win the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
“This is a competition we have never won, and if we want to achieve that dream, Kotoko must be taken out of our way,” he added.
“So we are going to Kumasi with one objective, to eliminate them.”
He also revealed that the team will receive strong support from their fans, with more than 650 supporters expected to travel from Dormaa to Kumasi.
“More than 650 of our fans will be travelling with us, and we cannot afford to disappoint them or the people of Dormaa,” he said.
The FA Cup Round of 16 match will be played on Monday, February 9, 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
