Technical Director of Inter Allies, Willie Klutse says he is confident his team is ready for their crucial MTN FA Cup Round of 16 clash against Dreams FC.
Speaking ahead of the game, Klutse highlighted his side's positive form and fighting spirit.
“We are looking forward to a very good, competitive game. Currently we are in very good shape, and I believe and trust that we are going to put up a very good fight,” he told Citi Sports.
For Inter Allies, a club trying to return to the Ghana Premier League after a period of suspension, a good FA Cup run is about more than winning, it is also about rebuilding the team’s image.
Klutse stressed that the team’s main focus is progression in the competition rather than a flashy scoreline.
“We hope to win that game and move forward in the FA Cup,” he said.
“Even when we get one goal, we qualify to the next level or stage of the competition, and that is the most important thing. We don't need to score six because Dreams are a very big, well-organised team.”
The Round of 16 matches will take place from February 6 to 9, 2026, with defending champions Asante Kotoko waiting to find out who wins and advances.
